'Trading Spaces' Was Renewed for Another Season, but One Designer Won't Be Returning
TLC graced us with a reboot of everyone's favorite house-swap series last April, when all of Trading Spaces' original designers and carpenters returned for a highly anticipated ninth season of the show. Now, the home-makeover series is coming back for its 10th season, set to air on March 16, 2019, People reports.
The new season will follow host Paige Davis and the other designers as they tackle "unconventional spaces including teachers' lounges, attics, basements, and the homes of twin sisters and ex-spouses."
The designers for the new season include Doug Wilson, Frank Bielec, Hildi Santo Tomas, John Gidding, Kahi Lee, Laurie Smith, Mikel Welch, Sabrina Soto, and Vern Yip. Genevieve Gorder, one of the show's original designers, will not be returning.

Fans of the designer shouldn't worry-Genevieve seems to have plenty of her own projects in the works. In August, she debuted a new Netflix series called Stay Here. In the show, she helps people transform their unsuccessful vacation rentals into desirable accommodations.
In October, Genevieve told PEOPLE about a "top secret" project she's working on for Bravo. "It's really exciting. I was very excited to take the job. Something new," she said. "There will be an incredible amount of designers that are familiar to you from all aspects of life and television. It feels like this interesting graduation of sorts." We can't wait to see!
You can tune in to watch the designers and carpenters (Brett Tutor, Carter Oosterhouse, Joanie Sprague, and Ty Pennington) for another round of house-swapping makeovers on March 16, 2019, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on TLC.
