We're one step closer to the long-awaited second season of Big Little Lies as new episodes of the show have now finished filming. Taking to Instagram to celebrate, Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon shared tributes to the cast and crew to mark the momentous occasion.

Wearing the most perfect sweatshirt, Kidman explained just how much she'd enjoyed reuniting with the cast and crew of Big Little Lies for a second season. Featuring the names of the key characters on the show, Kidman's sweater reads, "Celeste & Jane & Bonnie & Renata & Madeline." Basically, if you're a fan of the series, you're going to want the very same sweatshirt.

As if her clothing was a big enough statement in itself, Kidman also wrote a heartfelt post about the cast and crew of the HBO series. She wrote:

"That’s a wrap on #BigLittleLies Season 2 filming! What a beautiful journey this has been with my Monterey 5 sisters and our passionate dedicated crew. Thank you HBO for the amazing opportunity and thank you Andrea Arnold for being our fearless leader, and of course the one and only Meryl Streep for believing in us. I love you all. xx"

Witherspoon also posted about the end of filming, sharing a series of photos taken with her cast mates. Revealing some behind-the-scenes snaps from set, Witherspoon wrote:

Feeling so grateful to my #BigLittleLies family on our last day of shooting Season 2! 🌟 You have all inspired me, supported me, made me laugh & cry. Making the second season even more exciting than the last (I can’t wait for y’all to see it!!) Thank you @HBO and our amazing Director Andrea Arnold! Big love to my sisters @nicolekidman @lauradern@shailenewoodley @zoeisabellakravitz and #MerylStreep. ❤️❤️❤️

Laura Dern also celebrated the end of filming, by sporting a shirt featuring the director's name on it:

Fingers crossed this means that new episodes of Big Little Lies will be with us sooner than we originally thought.
