A$AP Rocky Rocks an Oversize, Slouchy Ensemble to His 35th Birthday Date With Rihanna
A$AP Rocky just celebrated his birthday in a look to remember.
The 35-year-old rapper stepped out with his girlfriend Rihanna on Tuesday in a layered ensemble set around a host of menswear staples, including a checkered blazer, shirt and knit combo, blue jeans, and black boots. Had that been all, the get-up would have been fairly standard-issue slouchy fare of the moment. But the “Fashion Killa” elevated the look with accessories, including an assortment of pearl hair clips and earrings, plus a woven pink handbag.

Rocky was also seen with a cigarette hanging out the side of his mouth, which served as a kind of badass prop to match Rihanna’s edgy all-black ensemble. The megawatt couple enjoyed Italian-American cuisine at Carbone in downtown N.Y.C. for the celebratory occasion, but word is still out on whether the restaurant’s signature dish, spicy rigatoni, was a main course. The A-list hotspot, founded by Mario Carbone, is also known to frequently host megawatt stars like Drake, Jennifer Lopez, as well as Justin and Hailey Bieber.
As for Rocky, the Harlem native’s birthday look isn’t particularly hard to replicate. Celine currently stocks a two-button wool blazer with a checkered pattern for $3,250, which can be sized up for that boxier silhouette. Meanwhile, Acne Studio’s loose-fit jeans in light blue can be had for $420 for that all-important wide-leg, loose fit. And you can complete the ensemble with Bottega Veneta’s medium-size leather cabat bag in “milkshake” pink, which retails for $9,100.
Rih and Rocky welcomed their second child, Riot Rose Mayers, in August. The Barbadian billionaire had her first child with the rapper a year before, in May 2022. Dates nights between the two have been known to cause a stir since the duo began dating in November 2020, according to Elle. Having appeared together at countless red carpets and five-star restaurants, from New York to Paris, they appear to be one celebrity couple that genuinely enjoys sharing the spotlight.
