A$AP Rocky’s elaborate man-icure is some of the coolest nail art we’ve seen all year
Rihanna's boyfriend, AKA RZA's dad, or as he's less commonly known... A$AP Rocky, just impressed me with some seriously slick nail art. What is it about men in nail polish? I just love it. Not just because it's defiant and confident, I just think it looks really cool. And clearly, so does Mr Robyn Fenty.
Now, this wasn't just your average nail polish, it was some epic detailed nail art by none other than Kim Truong, or KimKim Nails, artist fave to the Kardashians, Katy Perry and Kerry Washington. I mean, you know it's going to be good.
Worn in a Beats by Dre commercial and the video for his track Riot (Rowdy Pipe’n), the incredible set features everything from tiny grenades to roses, a stop sign, and an American flag. I think my favourite though may be the thick black stripe. They're just undeniably cool AF. I mean swipe to slides four and five.
And it's not the first time A$AP has rocked (see what I did there) some impressive nail art. Kim has created a number of looks for him in the past including this adorable Oscars look where, along with an American flag and some very green cash, he had a tiny Academy Award painted on one nail to celebrate Rihanna's nomination and win 🥹.
As well as this little black and yellow met gala detail that looks to be lemons?
Who knew A$AP Rocky was going to become one of my nail icons for 2023? Probably Kim Truong.
