Anzalna Nasir admits mixed feelings of being LOVETA's new face

31 Dec – Although she is thankful to be chosen as the successor of Siti Sarah Raissuddin as the face of LOVETA, actress Anzalna Nasir couldn't help but tear up after being reminded of the late singer.

The actress, who shared a video from the new promotional shoot for the said hijab brand, wrote online that she had mixed feelings when the team of LOVETA contacted her for such cooperation.

"The LOVETA hijab is synonymous with Siti Sarah's name. I even asked [husband] Hanif Zaki's [advice] several times," she wrote. "It was such a moving shoot. To LOVETA team, I'm so sorry if I didn't bring the best throughout the shoot because I was so emotional. I missed Sarah so much. Al-Fatihah to her."

One can see in the said video that Anzalna couldn't help but cry as she sat next to Sarah's daughter Talita during the shoot, causing both Talita and Sarah's stepmother Siti Fatimah Suberi to tear up as well.

Anzalna, who started wearing hijab last September, admitted that she had received offers from many brands since then, but decided to work with LOVETA due to her love of the brand as well as Sarah as its founder.

Singer Siti Sarah passed away in August this year due to complications from COVID-19. Her fourth child was born three days prior to her passing. She was 36.
