Anthony Wong says son involved in a car crash

18 Jan - Hong Kong actor Anthony Wong recently clarified rumours of his supposed car accident and stated that it was his oldest son, Wong Yat Yat, who was involved in the crash.

Previously, Anthony shared a photo of a car crash on social media and wrote, "Still survived after such a crash. I am grateful. Thank you, God", sparking speculations that he was involved in a car accident.

However, according to ET Today, the actor, who accepted a phone interview recently, stated that it was his son, who is currently studying in the United States, who was involved in a crash and that the car belonged to and was driven by another friend.

"I didn't even remember which day it was. I think it was on 13 January. I was really worried because people told me that he wasn't breathing at the time," said Anthony.

The actor stated that he sent his wife to see his son since he doesn't have a US visa and was busy with his stage play.

"I was in Hong Kong waiting for my wife's call. And then I heard my son's voice on the phone. My wife said that our son was okay and only needed a neck brace and some physical therapy. I was so relieved," he said.
