Anthony Wong denies moving to Taiwan
11 May – Anthony Wong has dismissed the notion that he has moved to Taiwan, seeing that he has been singing praises and working a lot in the island in recent years.
As reported on Oriental Daily, the actor, who spoke to the media when he attended the launch of a Japanese restaurant in Causeway Bay recently, stated that he has always been a Hong Kong resident and has never "run away".
"People mistakenly thought that I have migrated to Taiwan when I just stayed there for work purposes," he said.
Anthony stressed that his career is still focused in Hong Kong, adding that he is currently busy preparing for his upcoming stage performance.
The actor also stated that he will be releasing a memoir in July, and will hold a photography exhibition in August.
When asked if the exhibition and memoir will include stories about his family life and his love life, Anthony responded, "I won't do things that offend others, and my family life is very boring."
