Another Prada x Adidas Collab Is Rumored to Launch — Here’s What It Looks Like

Prada and Adidas are rumored to be teaming up yet again. Last December, the first Prada for Adidas limited-edition release launched with the Prada Superstar. Now it looks as if a new silhouette is on its way after images of the collaboration surfaced on Tuesday.

Similar to Prada’s own Americas Cup silhouette, the sneaker is designed with a modern aesthetic. Outside, it’s detailed with a translucent midsole and on the heel tab, Prada’s Sport Linea Rossa logo can be seen. Inside, Adidas and Prada branding is also featured on the sole. No other details have been revealed on a launch date or price. What we do know is that their last capsule debuted to much hype and it’s not going to be the last.

A whole new line of Luna Rossa performance sailing footwear from the two was promised to to be unveiled in 2020, FN reported last year. The luxury label has its own sailing team called Luna Rossa which launched in 1997 and participates in the America’s Cup sailing competition. In the same year, the brand also launched a sportswear line called Linea Rossa. Prada has since revived the line with the relaunch of Linea Rossa at the end of 2018.

For its first collab, Prada and Adidas was inspired by the 50th anniversary of the Adidas Superstar and released shell-toed sneakers in black and white in a limited 700-unit drop. The shoes arrived alongside a Prada signature bowling bag, which had a $3,170 price tag. Manufactured in Italy, the styles were crafted in premium full-grain leather with Prada’s signature branding emblazoned on the heel of the lateral side and on the tongue.
