Annie Liu completes her first North Pole marathon
26 Apr – Taiwanese actress Annie Liu recently admitted that she has immensely enjoyed participating in the FWD North Pole Marathon 2019.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who started the marathon in Norway's Longyearbyen on 9 April, successfully completed the race in three hours, 17 minutes and 50 seconds.
"This is the first time ever I have done this in my life. The experience is quite valuable. For me, [three hours] is a good result," she said.
Annie added that she originally expected to take five hours to complete the whole marathon.
"The most memorable thing to me is having to run in a strong wind. I nearly got blown away by the wind many times. It was challenging to get back on track," she said.
