Anita Chui ends quarantine in HK and will return to LA
8 Apr - Anita Chui recently revealed that she has finally completed her 14-day quarantine that started after she arrived in Hong Kong from the United States late last month.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress shared the news on social media on 5 March, writing, "Finally I am home after the quarantine life at the hotel. I finally completed the 14-day quarantine, and for the time being, I am healthy and happy to be able to return home."
Anita stated that she is relieved that she no longer has to be alone and to burden her mother with the responsibility of delivering meals to her every day.
"Today, I woke up and cooked. Since mummy is a vegetarian, I decided to make a delicious and easy to eat "scrambled eggs with love," she enthused.
On the other hand, the actress told the media recently that she will be returning to Los Angeles to start on her new film on the first day of May.
"I don't want to miss the opportunity. Although the pandemic is severe in the United States, the crew has arranged a place of residents and all the necessities for me. It's very safe. The only thing that concerns me is the flight," she added, though stressed that she will take her prevention measures seriously.
