Angie Shum denies pregnancy rumours

23 Jun - Hong Kong singer-actress Angie Shum has dismissed rumours that there may be a bun in the oven.

As reported on Mingpao, rumours of a pregnancy sparked after Angie was spotted appearing at an OB/GYN clinic. She had also apparently gained a bit of weight, further fueling the rumours.

When asked about it at an eyewear event recently, Angie shared that her recent trip to the gynaecologist was for an annual routine examination. It was just last year that she was diagnosed with a large ovarian cyst and underwent a surgery to remove it.

"I am a traditional girl. I will only have a child after I am married," she said, adding that she is currently not in any relationship.

However, she admitted to have gained some weight for the last few months.

"I'm not sure whether I might have been too happy, but my weight has risen to 128 pounds," she said.
