Angelica Panganiban, JM de Guzman reprise roles for live reading
14 Apr – Angelica Panganiban and JM de Guzman recently reprised their roles as Mace and Anthony for a special live script reading of their hit film, "That Thing Called Tadhana".
As reported on ABS-CBN News, the two stars recently reunited via Facebook Live alongside director and scriptwriter Antoinette Jadaone for the said session, which was hosted by Juan Miguel Severo.
The said script reading was part of Lockdown Cinema Nights, which is held to raise funds to assist film workers who are lacking in jobs following the Luzon lockdown.
Aside from the script reading, Panganiban and de Guzman also answered several questions from netizens about the movie, including one that asked whether the two stars would do what their characters did in the film.
"Maybe," said Panganiban. "It's really hard to portray a role if you don't believe in what the character is doing, right? You never know when you're in that situation you're so heartbroken, you just want to talk to someone. Really anyone you can tell how you feel. It's really possible."
On the other hand, filmmaker Antoinette Jadaone stated that she is still working on the script of "That Thing Called Tadhana 2", which has been going through several changes based on situations.
