Angelababy to drop her stage name?
8 Nov – It was reported that Chinese star Angelababy is planning to drop her stage name for the simple Yang Ying.
As reported on Kwongwah, the actress, who adopted the name Angelababy by mixing her English name "Angela" and her nickname "Baby", reportedly wanted to have a fresh start now that she is married and has become a mother.
She also said that the reason for changing it is because her husband, actor Huang Xiaoming preferred that she keeps a low-profile, especially since the actress has been working non-stop since giving birth to her son.
Huang also believed that by reducing her work, Angelababy will be able to improve herself and become a better actor.
However, the actress' studio has yet to confirm whether they will implement the change.
It is noted that prior to her success, Angelababy also goes by the name Angela Yeung.
