Angelababy denies diva rumours
15 Dec – Chinese actress Angela Yeung (aka Angelababy) has recently dismissed rumours saying that she was the person that actress Adi Kan previously talked about in her interview.
As reported on China Times, Adi, who starred in the reality show, "The Inn", spoke about her experience of dealing with an arrogant actress.
She said that during a scene where the two of them had to cry, Adi had to redo the scenes several times just because the other actress was not satisfied with her own performance.
Adi stated that the actress was using her status in the industry to get what she wanted.
Following the confession, netizens began to speculate about the identity of the actress, with many claiming it must be Angela, who previously worked with her in "Love Yunge from the Desert".
Angela's camp had since denied the rumours, by posting a screengrab of the report about the issue on its official Weibo, and adding the word "False" in big red letters across it.
Her rep stated that while the two of them worked in the same production before, they didn't have any scenes together, thus it is false to claim that Angela was the person Adi mentioned in her confession.
"I hope that people will not misuse this information to spread malicious rumours," the rep added.
