Angel Locsin one of Tatler Asia's Leaders of Tomorrow

21 Oct – After being named one of Forbes Asia's "Heroes of Philanthropy" in 2019, Angel Locsin made to another list this year for her charity work - the Tatler Asia's Gen T list of "Leaders of Tomorrow".

As reported on Inquirer, the actress was elated over the news as she showed off the list on social media, writing, "Philippines represent for Entertainment. Grateful for this honour to be included in [Generation T Asia] list of 2020 as Leaders of Tomorrow. Humbled, inspired, and amazed. Thank you from the Philippines [Tatler Philippines] [Tatler Asia] for making me part of the awesome list."

In the video that came with the post, Locsin expressed, "I'm amazed [and] inspired to be alongside fellow artists all over Asia, and I'm proud to represent the land of [many] feelings, Philippines!"

Her profile in the said list read, "Angelica Locsin became a household name for her philanthropic work, particularly since she donated US$300,000 to scholarships for the less fortunate, as well as supporting the economic and political rights of indigenous people, and working to end violence against women and children."

It is noted that Locsin has done a lot of charity work since the start of the pandemic this year, from launching the UniTENTweStandPH - a campaign to provide tents to resolve hospital overcrowding, to even auctioning her own car in order to raise funds for the needy.
