Angel Locsin laughs off online death threat

21 May – Angel Locsin has found a recent Twitter post calling for anybody to assassinate her and a couple of other actors quite funny, as she shared the said post on social media recently.

On 20 May, the actress decided to screen-shot a post made by a certain NJ Abellanosa on her social media, which read, "Are you one of President Duterte's supporters? I will give P200 million to any Duterte or GMA supporter who can kill Kim Chiu, Coco Martin and Angel Locsin."

Locsin captioned the post, "Hello, NBI. [This is really bad]", and added a grinning with cold sweat emoji.

After looking into it, it was revealed that the said account had been created in May 2020, with only several followers.

Meanwhile, another netizen claimed that "The General's Daughter" star was a supporter of the New People's Army (NPA) and that anything she says should not be believed.

Locsin was among the celebrities who expressed her frustration over the shutdown of ABS-CBN earlier this month, blasting the decision made by NTC during the pandemic where many have already lost their jobs.
