Andy Hui wants to be better moving forward

20 Oct – Andy Hui recently admitted that he hopes to try and be a better person moving forward, following his 2019 scandal with former TVB actress Jacqueline Wong.

As reported on Mingpao, the singer, who is slowly making his comeback after a long hiatus, shared that he now cherishes everyone around him, including his family and fans.

"The only thing you can do is to try your best to be yourself. This is the biggest motivation," he said. "I can only hope. I am ready and I hope I can do it. I have confidence in that."

When mentioned about the Hong Kong Coliseum concert that he had to cancel following the scandal, Andy dismissed the notion that he would revive it.

"I haven't thought about it at all. I think I need to take it step by step, and focus on the songs. No need to think too much about other things," he said.

Asked if he followed the news of Jacqueline's supposed new romance with RubberBand drummer Lai Man Wang, Andy said that he is only looking forward to his career.

As to whether he will send his blessings, the singer replied, "I won't go back to before."
