Andrew Pong cherishes time with father

22 Aug - Hong Kong actor Andrew Pong was surprised when mentioned how happy his father, Chin Siu Ho was to be able to bond with him.

As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who appeared at the charity premiere of his new movie, "Bio Raiders" with Chin recently, stated that he is also happy with the opportunity to work with his father.

"When I was little, I would always think that one day I would work with my father, but at the time, it seemed more possible to work with my uncle [Chin Kar Lok]. I would never imagine to finally be able to work with him at last in my third movie," he said.

Although Chin mentioned how he rarely interacted with Andrew since he was a child, the younger actor said that he never thought he lacked fatherly love.

"Although daddy didn't teach me martial arts, my uncle taught me well when I was little. He even stole dad's favourite toy for me to play with," he said.

When asked if it is possible for the two of them to bond again after all the wasted years, Andrew responded positively, saying, "Family is important to me."
