Amy K was having plastic surgery during the earthquake
20 Feb – Hong Kong actress Amy K (also known as Amy Ai) recently admitted that she could feel the shake of last week's magnitude-5.8 earthquake in Hualien while she was in Taipei having a plastic surgery.
As reported on Mingpao, the "Super Models" actress, whose nose was still covered with bandage from her previous rhinoplasty as she arrived at the Hong Kong airport, stated that she was "scared to death" during the earthquake.
"I was just recovering from the anesthesia and was still drowsy. At first, I thought about running out the door. But they pulled me away," said Amy, who was told that she could ruin the prosthetics if she ran.
When asked what kind of surgery that she did, the actress bluntly shared that it was to remove the old prosthetics and change with a new one. She previously went under the knife in South Korea.
"This time it was not as painful. It's possible that the technology is more advanced nowadays," she said, adding that she will return in three months for a follow-up treatment.
