Amtrak is celebrating fall early with a flash sale that has 30 percent off Flex fare tickets across the country.

The sale, which must be booked by Aug. 7, is available on travel nationwide from Aug. 14 to Oct. 31, according to the rail company. And to make travel even easier, there are no blackout dates or promo code required to book.

“Amtrak is on sale nationwide, so book that fall trip, and fast,” Amtrak wrote in a statement. “For a limited time, grab low fares to destinations across the country — and travel in comfort with space to relax.”

Travel between Baltimore and Philadelphia starting at just $30 each way, or go from Baltimore all the way to New York City starting at just $52 each way. Travelers can cross the country from Dallas to Los Angeles starting at just $100 each way, or head down to warmer climes with tickets from New York City to Savannah starting at just $93 each way.

The sale is available on Amtrak’s Flex fares. The company, which changed its fare structure last year, now offers two fare options of “value” and “flex.”

Changes are not permitted with the sale, but passengers can cancel prior to departure for a 50 percent cancellation fee. Upgrades are also not allowed.

The sale is only available for coach and Acela Business class tickets.

The sale is not valid on the Adirondack, Berkshire Flyer, Carl Sandburg, Downeaster, Empire Service, Ethan Allen, Illini, Illinois Zephyr, Lincoln Service, Maple Leaf, Pacific Surfliner, Saluki, or intra-Virginia routes. The sale is also not available on the Borealis route except between Chicago and Milwaukee.

Amtrak is one of the best ways to see fall foliage across the country, including on the Coast Starlight line on the West Coast and on the Capitol Limited line, which travels from Washington, D.C., up to Chicago.
