Ammar Alfian denies being the actor who physically assaulted his girlfriend
10 Jul - Ammar Alfian has recently dismissed speculations that he is the actor described in a recent news about an actor who physically assaulted his girlfriend.
The 37-year-old denied the allegations on social media in response to some netizens speculating that it was him following the reports saying that the man is a 37-year muscular actor known for doing action movies.
"Crazy. It wasn't me," said the "PASKAL" actor in the comments, adding a laughing emoji.
In another comment, Ammar joked about needing to ask producers to give him roles as a pious man in future projects so that he won't be dragged into such a rumour.
"I know I look bad and I play bad guys. So, please give me a role of an Ustaz in the future. I want scenes in the mosque where I do my prayers and cry while I make dua," he added.
In the event that occurred in Ara Damansara, a woman filed a report at the Sea Park Police Station on the evening of 7 July, saying that she was punched in her right eye and hit on her body in an SUV driven by an unnamed actor following a misunderstanding.
The case is being investigated under Section 323 of the Penal Code.
