Amex Is Offering Exclusive 'White Lotus' Experiences in Thailand and California — With All the Luxury and None of the Murder
A new partnership between the HBO hit show, Four Seasons, and American Express will give insider access to premium credit cardholders.
In the everlasting words of Jennifer Coolidge’s eccentric character, Tanya McQuoid, “Whenever I stay at a White Lotus, I always have a memorable time.” And now, you too, can make that a reality.
A new partnership between the HBO hit show, Four Seasons, and American Express will give insider access to premium credit cardholders. It all coincides with the season three launch of the scintillating hit series on Feb. 7, 2025.
Starting today, Amex Platinum and Centurion cardholders can purchase a luxury package meant to capture the essence of The White Lotus through dining and wellness experiences. (No, there’s no murder mystery element, for better or worse.)
Two different packages are being offered for travelers with the Platinum or Centurion card, so you can decide if you want to live this fantasy closer to home or across the Pacific.
First, the Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village in California will host Amex cardholders from Feb. 5-7 for a two-night experience with spa treatments, a Full Moon party, elevated dining, and according to Amex, “moments inspired by Thailand.” The property, just 20 minutes outside of Malibu, has the largest spa in the entire Four Seasons portfolio with 80,000 square feet of wellness space.
The retreat also includes a sneak peek at the third season of The White Lotus, photo opportunities, and other series tie-ins to be announced. The all-in cost will set cardholders back $3,000 per room for up to two guests.
It’s also possible to evoke your favorite series character at the Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui, Thailand. From March 12-15, premium cardholders can purchase a three-night package at the very hotel where some of the upcoming season was filmed.
This package includes a thematic dinner experience celebrating the destinations throughout the series, a Full Moon-inspired beach party, spa treatments, island excursions, and airport transfers. The 70-villa beach resort offers lush tropical landscaping with absolute privacy, so you can choose whether to mix and mingle with some of the other privileged guests—or not.
While the previous two seasons of The White Lotus were notably filmed on location at Four Seasons properties — Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea and Four Seasons San Domenico Palace, respectively — it’s the first time the luxury hotel chain is formalizing a relationship with the series.
“For many Four Seasons guests, especially our pop culture enthusiasts and travel trendsetters, The White Lotus serves as the perfect travel inspiration,” Marc Speichert, chief commercial officer for Four Seasons, said in a statement provided to Travel + Leisure. “After showcasing the beauty of Maui and then our breathtaking Taormina property, we're excited to celebrate Koh Samui in the third season of this beloved show."
