Amelia Henderson stresses the importance of accountability as podcaster
19 Aug - Amelia Henderson recently stressed the importance of being responsible when producing a podcast that will be enjoyed by the public.
The actress, who co-created and hosted her own podcast, Studio Sembang, stated that a podcast is a valuable medium to share opinions, but that one must be accountable for one's opinion.
"But we can't just blame the podcast world, because it depends on social media as well. We have to be responsible with what we are saying no matter if we are in front of the camera or not," she said.
Amelia also said that she is the kind of person who would get her guests' consent before sharing the content of their interviews on her YouTube channel.
"Even while editing it, I will make sure to ask the guest first and will only air it after we received their permission... I am always cautious. Sometimes I even filtered more things than what was consented. I understand that sometimes we speak with emotions, and for the sake of my show and my guests, I am more cautious on what I air," she said.
