Amber Kuo celebrates 16th year in music with injured leg

28 Dec - Amber Kuo recently had to celebrate her showbiz anniversary with an injured leg.

As reported on Oriental Daily, the Taiwanese singer and actress revealed her situation on 25 December, which also commemorates her 16th anniversary in the industry, with a photo of her fractured leg.

"Happy hard 16th anniversary," she captioned the post.

She also took to Weibo where she spoke about the injury, writing, "On the day I debuted at the age of 16, I turned into a four-legged monster and walked slower, but I could keep walking..."

She revealed that she had an "avulsion fracture of the calcaneus on the right calcaneus" as her "Christmas gift", and that a new music release in 2024 as the "New Year" gift for her fans.

Anger mounts over China's response to deadly car attack
STORY: China's government faced mounting anger Wednesday over its handling of the deadly car attack there earlier in the week - and appeared to be taking steps to limit news of the incident. On Monday, a man drove into a crowd at a sports center, killing 35 and injuring 43. But the government took nearly a day to announce the death toll, and the incident has been little reported by state media.
