Amanda Seyfried walked the carpet for Showtime's upcoming Twin Peaks revival in Los Angeles Friday. The new mom and actress plays Becky in the new series, but details about her characters have been a closely-guarded secret, as BuzzFeed reports.

Seyfried looked stunning in a LBD and dark lipstick.

Her husband, actor Thomas Sadoski, joined her at the premiere.

But as amazing as Seyfried and Sadoski, who welcomed their first child in March, looked, the real standout was her dress, which made a statement-literally. Sewn into the bottom hem was a single word: Equality.

Seyfried has spoken out before about gender equality and the pay gap. During a 2015 interview with the UK's Sunday Times, she talked about her personal experiences with pay inequality.

"A few years ago, on one of my big-budget films, I found I was being paid 10% of what my male co-star was getting, and we were pretty even in status," she said. "I think people think that just because I'm easy-going and game to do things I'll just take as little as they offer… It's not about how much you get, it's about how fair it is."

Now this is the kind of statement-making fashion choice we can really get behind.
