Almost seven years ago, after an exhaustive three years of house hunting, an art-collecting couple from Lebanon paid just over $16 million for a sprawling Los Angeles estate. Soon after, the matriarch of the family told Galerie Magazine that she couldn’t imagine “living anywhere else in L.A.”
But that was then! Now the globetrotting partners who also have residences in Beirut and Paris seem to have changed their minds, and are indeed hoisting their architectural-style California outpost in Santa Monica back on the market. The asking price? A substantially higher $33 million.
