Alice Chan prays for new romance
19 Feb – Despite her previous divorce, Alice Chan is not saying no to love, as she expressed hope to finally meet her soul mate in the Year of the Pig.
As reported on Singtao, the actress, whose marriage with businessman James Yen ended in 2012, shared that she would like to pray for an ideal partner this year, as it has been a while since she was in a relationship.
"I think compatibility is the most important thing. Having common interests will give us more things to talk about in our daily life," she said.
While looks is important on first impression, Alice said that she is the kind of person who takes a little bit more time to get to know someone before committing to a relationship.
Asked if she currently has a pursuer, the actress admitted that she is getting to know several people right now, hoping to find the right fit.
As to whether she will date a younger man, Alice responded, "Communication is the most important, so age is not an issue."
