Alice Chan on failed marriage: I never thought our love would end

19 Jun – TVB actress Alice Chan has recently opened up about her divorce, saying that her marriage ended because the love was gone.

As reported on TVBS, the actress, who went on TVB show "Wishful Living" recently, admitted that she never expected that the love between her and her husband would disappear when she decided to marry him.

"I chose love 11 years ago. I gave up everything for my husband because he was my whole world," she said.

Alice stated that it was her husband who proposed the divorce, saying that he owed her as he was too busy with his business to spend time with her.

The actress married her Taiwanese businessman husband in 2008 and decided to fade out from showbiz, only to return in 2012 with a new management contract with TVB.

No one knew about her divorce until 2017, when Alice revealed that she has actually been single again for the past five years.
