Ali Lee surprised by good reviews of "Who Wants a Baby?"
20 Jul – TVB actress Ali Lee recently admitted that she was surprised at how well her new drama, "Who Wants a Baby?" has been received by the audience, despite the fact that it was preceded by the popular drama, "Deep in the Realm of Conscience".
As reported on Mingpao, the actress who appeared at the promotional event of the said drama recently, stated that she is happy that the drama is well-liked by viewers, especially since that there is no blood and gore, no action, nor sexy elements to the storyline.
"I found out that 90 percent of the fans who commented on the drama are mothers. They empathise with my character and even shared baby photos with me," she said.
Ali also stated that while she felt like she wanted to have her own baby during the filming of "Who Wants a Baby?", she has now dismissed the idea.
"I realised that taking care of children is a big responsibility. There are too many things that you have to worry about," she said.
However, the actress admitted that she has instead learned to appreciate her mother more.
