Ali Lee still denies rumours that she is in a forced hiatus
14 Nov – Despite not being called to return to some of the sequels of her original dramas, Ali Lee is against the idea that she has been frozen by TVB over her previous political views.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who was seen in TVB City for the taping of the variety show, "Do Did Eat", said that despite the rumours, she has actually been busy filming her new drama "Amelia's Rhapsody", and only completed the shoot last month.
"I also went to Australia to support the Miss Chinese Australia pageant. But for now, I don't have any new drama. The market is much more quiet. Like many artistes, I have a lot of time in my hands right now," she said.
However, rather than see it as a setback, Ali said that she would use the time to go on a short trip with her boyfriend and another long vacation alone.
"I've gone to Australia before, so now I plan to go to Canada. I also would like to enroll in performing arts classes," she added.
