Ali Lee does volunteer work during the pandemic

2 Jun – With not much to do since the pandemic and the rumoured temporary ban from TVB, Ali Lee has been using her free time doing charity work around Hong Kong.

On 1 June, the actress shared several photos from her volunteering work with UNICEF, where she was seen visiting houses and distributing care packages while promoting health and safety practices along with other volunteers.

She wrote, "During this time, I had the opportunity to visit the community and meet other volunteers. Every family has its own story. It is not an easy road for everyone."

"With helping others through encouragement and warm speech, I was able to receive more in return. Thank you [UNICEF HK]," Ali added.

Rumours of Ali being frozen by TVB sparked last year, when she was accused of supporting the Hong Kong independence movement. Although the actress denied it, she had since been removed from the sequels of most of her hit series including "Legal Mavericks", "Big White Duel", and "Who Wants a Baby?"
