Ali Lee denies she was replaced by Bowie Cheung in new project

22 Jul – Ali Lee has denied rumours that she was removed from the upcoming TVB series, "Children's Hospital" and was replaced by Bowie Cheung instead.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who appeared at the promotional event of her new series, "Death by Zero" recently, stated that she was never contacted about the said project in the first place and only learned several rumours about the drama from news reports.

"The only thing I know is that I am going to have a new drama in mid-August. I have already met with the producer, but the details will only be announced by the company in the future," she said.

Last week, "Children's Hospital" producer Ben Fong revealed that Bowie was cast in the drama in a different role altogether, and that TVB failed to provide Ali's schedule to them on time to enable such cooperation.

On the other hand, the actress said that she is elated over the ideal ratings of "Death by Zero", and hopes that the ratings will continue to rise.

"The viewers really liked the theme, and the plot will become more and more interesting in the coming weeks," she said.
