Ali Lee and Danny Chan no longer making wedding plans
7 Jul – Although she and Danny Chan have been together for more than six years, Ali Lee admitted that the two of them have yet to make any new plans to tie the knot.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who spoke about her relationship with the ViuTV host, stated that while she would like to get married one day, she will not force the other party into it or give him a "deadline".
"The man would like to have a certain stability and breakthrough in his career. But these kind of things are hard to predict, so we realised that it was useless to have any plans at all," she said.
Ali said that she used to think that she would get married at 28 and have two children at 30, but now that her plans did not come to fruition, she decided not to think too much about it.
"I think the most important thing is to be comfortable and to follow my own path," she added.
When mentioned that she had zero scandals since entering the industry, Ali said that there really was no other pursuers.
"I think it's probably because it's hard to get close to me. My relationship with Danny has been very stable in recent years and I wasn't too young when I joined the industry, so I was very clear about my direction and goals," she added.
