Ali Lee admits disappointment over leaving "Legal Mavericks"

16 Dec – TVB actress Ali Lee recently admitted that she really felt a bit disappointed at first that she will not return for the sequel of her hit series, "Legal Mavericks".

As reported on HK01, the actress, who spoke to the media at the press conference announcing this year's TVB Anniversary Awards, stated that she couldn't help but feel saddened when she first heard that she will not reprising her character as Cherry, and is replaced by Kelly Cheung instead, who will play a different character albeit with similar traits to hers.

"I really like this character. But I have moved on now. You just have to be flexible and go where you are needed," she said.

Ali also stated that she will leave everything up to fate and focus on her current work. The actress just recently concluded filming her new drama, "Amelia's Rhapsody".

As to her previous Instagram post, which read, "Go with the flow", Ali said that it had nothing to do with the announcement that she will not return to the series.

"I was on vacation at the time and didn't actually pay attention to news in Hong Kong, so the post was not related to it at all," she added.
