Alex Fong hasn't met the right woman
7 May – Hong Kong actor Alex Fong has nothing but well wishes for Laurinda Ho, who recently admitted to romance with Chinese actor Shawn Dou.
As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who was romantically linked to the Hong Kong heiress in the past, enthused, "I want all my friends to be happy. This is a very good thing. Happy news should be congratulated."
Alex added that he is not saddened by it at all, as the romantic relationship between him and Laurinda was nothing more than just a mere rumour.
"I have been single for the past three years, but people keep claiming that I was dating this person or that person. There is no such thing," he said.
Asked if he was hard to please, Alex said that he was just not fated to meet the right woman just yet.
"I am not a young man anymore. I don't want to waste my time," he said.
Asked if he learned his lesson from dating Stephy Tang for ten years without getting married, the actor responded, "Don't say it like that. Life is about learning. I am an optimistic person. I believe that I will find my happiness in the future."
