Alessandra de Rossi's "My Amanda" to premiere on Netflix
18 Jun – After nearly two years since she announced her directorial debut, Alessandra de Rossi's first film as a director is set to be released on Netflix.
The news was shared by the streaming service on 17 June, posting several photos of de Rossi and her leading man, Piolo Pascual from the movie, which has been retitled, "My Amanda".
"What's in between friendship and love? Here's your first look at My Amanda starring Alessandra de Rossi and Piolo Pascual. Coming to Netflix this July 15!" the announcement read.
Produced by Pascual's Spring Films, "My Amanda" tells the story of best friends TJ and Amanda, as they navigate different shades of their relationship.
It is noted that de Rossi previously stated that the movie was a gift for Pascual, whom she was in gratitude for in turning her life around when he produced her indie success, "Kita Kita".
