Alert: Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Might Be Getting a Home in California
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry reportedly want a home in California.
The place would let Meghan be closer to her mom Doria Ragland and "allow her some freedom and independence from both the Palace and the Press."
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are very preoccupied at the moment awaiting the birth of their first child. But don't think that it's been stressful for them-according to reports, Meg has been having a "love-filled time," and she and Harry have "had a steady stream of friends, family and loved ones come by to visit" as they get ready for their baby.
Apparently the royals have also been thinking about life post-birth, and besides that whole possible three-year move to Africa, they're reportedly thinking about spending more time America and getting a house in California.
A source tells The Sun, “Meghan definitely wants a place in Los Angeles-she loves the city, the lifestyle and climate. Ultimately, she is a California girl and can breathe easier there...Spending time there would also allow her some freedom and independence from both the Palace and the Press-and more control over her life and the people around her...She also has friends in LA with babies and will want to have that interaction and bring up her child in a less restrictive environment-similar to how she grew up."
And if Harry and Meg get a place in California, they would reportedly look for a home near Meghan's mom Doria Ragland, who is currently in England to be with her daughter when she gives birth. Meghan and her mom are close, so the home would allow them to spend "quality time" together.
However, Meghan and Harry aren't making any moves to get the additional home right now. Another source shares,“They’re not looking to buy anywhere just yet as they’ve only just finished the renovations on Frogmore Cottage...But they’re definitely eyeing up a place in California.”
So, I guess we'll have that to look forward to once the royal baby comes!
