Alan Carr EXCLUSIVE: ‘I Was P****d Off At Lindsay Lohan, She Knew What Was Coming’

It’s acknowledged as one of the most excruciating celebrity interviews ever, and now Alan Carr has at last opened up about THAT first meeting with Lindsay Lohan saying that he was ‘p****d off’ with the actress for acting surprised at his line of questioning.

In case your memory needs refreshing, Lindsay was a guest on the show back in 2010 and appeared, for the most part, offended by much of Alan’s interview.

Alan’s ‘Are you Martha or are you Arthur?’ question was a particular highlight, to which Lindsay responded rather firmly that she would ‘not be discussing it’.

However, Alan insists that Lindsay knew exactly where the interview was going from before she sat down on the sofa.

Speaking exclusively to Yahoo Celeb ahead of the release of his latest stand-up DVD, the chat show host said Lindsay had been briefed and wasn’t asked anything she wasn’t expecting.

“With Lindsay they’d told us that they wanted to talk about her being a lesbian, drugs, rehab and being a bad girl in Hollywood – so we worked out a whole script around that.

“So we had all that and then she was making out like she was Mother Theresa, so it just got me a little bit angry,” Alan told us, adding:

“I asked her about being a lesbian, and she was like ‘How rude!’ and all that but I’d been told we could ask anything – so I was p****d off.

“If I had all those things in the papers I would come on and be like ‘This is what I want to talk about, BOOM’ otherwise it’s just eggy.”

He also said how Chatty Man never asks anyone about anything that they don’t want to.

“We are not one of those chat shows to catch anyone out – they tell us what they don’t want to talk about and we won’t talk about it.”

However, Lindsay has since come back to the show and Alan says it was a different story second time round.

“But the second time she was on she was much better and I saw a change in her and I think she really is sorting it all out now,“ he told us.

Well, it certainly made for chat show telly history that’s for sure.
