Ajai says body wave on "Big Stage" was not planned

5 Jul – Ajai recently revealed that his recent shenanigans on stage were not planned and were the result of spontaneous acts to entertain the audience.

The composer, known for being strict and serious when judging the contestants of "Big Stage", surprised many when he suddenly did a body wave on stage while performing his old song, "Aku Cinta, Aku Rindu" with host Elly Mazlein.

When asked about the dance, Ajai said, "I have two characters. One as a performer, which is when I am hired to entertain people. Another is as a judge, where I work to give marks to the contestants. That is neutrally me."

"You can't bring your judge persona on stage. Who would want to look at that stern face. I was just being a good sport," he added.

Ajai, who later repeated the dance with Elly's co-host Rina Nose, also denied that he was trying to go viral or attract attention, adding that it was normal for him as an entertainer.

"I wasn't trying to steal anybody's limelight. It was all natural," he added.
