29 Sep - Aishah recently slammed netizens over the criticisms they made regarding the first episode of the new season of "Gegar Vaganza".
The singer, who is one of the champions of the previous season participating in the new All Stars competition, took to social media to express her thoughts on several of the comments made by people regarding the show, her own performance, and the hosts, Elly Mazlein in particular.
"If you don't like watching 'sendu' artistes, don't watch. If you don't like watching 'sendu' TV hosts, don't watch. If you don't like the format of a show, don't watch. If you don't like anything, then don't watch or get involved," she said.
The word 'sendu', in this case, usually refers to artistes who haven't been releasing new work.
"Who are you to comment as if you are the best and most entitled person in the world? Just let us who love the show watch it. It doesn't affect you, does it?" she added.
Fans of the singer took to the comments to support the singer, saying that those who have issues with the show would never be satisfied with anything. Others commented that these netizens might not even watch the real thing and only gave their two cents based on the TikTok videos they watched.
Earlier, Elly Mazlein was criticised for her hosting, with many claiming that the singer was going overboard with her style of hosting, compared to the original hosts Nabil Ahmad and Jihan Muse. Others commented on the singers, and Aishah as well, for her supposed lacklustre performance.
The singer herself admitted in another post that she didn't do as well as she hopes, and promises to do better in the next episode.
