Aina Abdul wants people to stop comparing her with Ernie Zakri

18 Dec - Aina Abdul doesn't want people to continue to pit her against Ernie Zakri anymore, which is why she has decided to collaborate with the said songstress in her upcoming concert in Singapore.

The singer, who spoke to the media at the Semifinal Muzik Muzik (SFMM38) in Glenmarie recently, stated that she asked Ernie to perform together as a way to stop the rumours that the two of them have been in conflict with each other and thus create a more positive environment for all entertainers.

At the same time, she also would like to prove that female singers can perform on stage together without being competitive.

"I think this is the best chance to end this whole comparison people kept making about us. I want to show that the idea that women can't work together isn't true," she added.

Aina also praised Ernie for her enormous talent, and admitted that the singer has the ability to spark the motivation in her to perform even better.

"We have started rehearsing, and what I can say is that the fans will definitely cry hearing us perform," she added.
