Aimee Chan's comeback drama halts filming

8 Sep – Rumour has it that Aimee Chan's comeback drama has recently been halted for a short time due to COVID-19.

According to Oriental Daily, the actress, who is set to make her acting comeback with a new TV series, reportedly had to delay her plans as daughter Camilla was diagnosed with the coronavirus last week.

Being in close contact as she is, both she and husband Moses Chan - who is also to star alongside her in the new series - have now suspended work for the time being as they undergo quarantine.

And since both Aimee and Moses could not work, the crew also are forced to halt the project, only to resume work after the couple end their quarantine period.

The new series, with the working title of "Romeo and His Butterfly Lover", will be Aimee's first drama project in eight years. The actress has slowed down her career ever since marrying Moses and giving birth to their three children.

The series co-stars Chow Ka Lok, Kayan Yau and Elena Kong, and tells the story of two tragic lovers.
