Adira Suhaimi and Datuk Red are officially divorced
25 Apr - It is official. Adira Suhaimi and husband Datuk Red are now divorced.
The businessman, real name Datuk Seri Adnan Abu, pronounced the talaq at the Shariah Lower Court in South Gombak in Rawang on 24 April, six months after Adira first filed her divorce papers.
It was back in March that Adira and Adnan underwent the Conciliation Committee process organised by the court, which came after the singer cited irreconcilable difference as the reason for her filing.
Adira tied the knot with the already married Adnan in Songkhla, Thailand back in 2015. The couple have four children together ranging from ages one to six.
It is noted that the singer had previously filed for divorce back in 2019, but retracted it for the sake of her children.
Meanwhile, Datuk Red's first wife, Datin Seri Sharifah Norshafila Hassim has also filed for divorce from him.
