Adia Chan denies reports about infertility and adoption
5 Apr – Adia Chan has recently dismissed recent reports saying that she cannot have a baby, Mingpao reports.
A Hong Kong tabloid recently published an article saying that the actress was rendered infertile following a surgery to treat ovarian cancer ten years ago.
It added that Adia also froze her eggs and underwent in vitro fertilisation in the United States. However, the procedure was unsuccessful, and that the only way she and her husband could have children is through adoption.
Asked about it recently, Adia stated, "The tabloid in question never even came to see me. I want to make it clear, of course I would like to have a baby. But this is a personal matter. I will not talk about it in public."
The actress also stated that her husband has also read the article and said that he would not spend any time talking to reporters about the subject.
As for the two girls she held in one of the photos published along with the article, Adia said that they were her niece.
