Adi Putra is not going to the "Mat Kilau" gala in Indonesia
24 Aug -Following the previous communication issue with "Mat Kilau" producer, Studio Kembara, Adi Putra recently stated that he will not be attending the upcoming gala screening of the movie in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Speaking to the media at the premiere of his new movie, "Air Force The Movie: Selagi Bernyawa" in GSC Mid Valley, Adi stated that he may consider attending the gala, to be held on 26 August, if the Indonesian organiser makes a request for him to be there themselves.
"But they haven't said anything until now," he added.
When mentioned that Studio Kembara has called him 11 times since he previously spoke out about having difficulties contacting the producer, Adi said that he purposely did not answer the calls after what the studio did previously.
"I tried calling them for two weeks but no response. But it's fine. I have already apologised. They haven't called me again after those 11 calls. It's fine. I hope that the gala night will help publicise the movie," he added.
As to whether he will return for the sequel if it comes to fruition, Adi said that it all comes down to communication.
"A good communication leads to a discussion. So, I will deliberate on it," he added.
It was earlier this month that Adi took to social media to express frustration with Kembara Studio, after the latter failed to respond to his calls.
"If a handphone is not enough for you to respond to my call, I can just buy you one so that we can communicate and discuss with one another," he posted.
