Actor Elliot Ngok Wah has passed away

24 Oct – TVB veteran actor Elliot Ngok Wah has recently passed away.

As reported on Epoch Times, the news was confirmed by good friend Meg Lam, who shared that the actor passed away in Vancouver, with wife Tuen Ni and daughter Faye by his side.

"I think it was probably cancer because a friend of ours saw him back in August and he was very skinny," she said.

Elliot started his career in the 60s after joining Shaw Brothers Studio. He had since made hundreds of movies and series following his breakout role in "Come Drink with Me" (1966).

His last drama was the 2015 costume series, "Captain of Destiny".

He also moved to Canada in the '90s, where he became the host for the Vancouver Chinese radio CHMB.

Elliot is known to many of his peers and junior actors as a good man and an idol. The actor is known for having no bad habits like smoking or gambling.

Coupled with his gentle and courteous personality, many young actors regard him as an example worthy of respect and admiration.

He was 76.
