Actor Bill Nunn dies aged 62

U.S. actor Bill Nunn has died age 62 reports Deadline.

Nunn was best known for his acclaimed role as Radio Raheem in Spike Lee's iconic and groundbreaking 1989 film "Do The Right Thing", and his more recent turn as Daily Bugle editor Robbie Robertson in the Sam Raimi-directed "Spider-Man" trilogy.

Nunn starred in more than 40 films and several TV shows throughout his career, and was most recently seen in the role of Cash on USA Network's short-lived series Sirens. As well as "Do The Right Thing" he also worked with Lee on numerous occassions, also starring in "School Daze," "He Got Game" and "Mo' Better Blues."

Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1953, Nunn died on Saturday, September 24 in Pittsburg from undisclosed causes. He's survived by his wife and two children.
