Actor and TV host Jason Godfrey weds his longtime girlfriend, Sorina Veronica
SINGAPORE — Man about town, Filipino-Canadian actor Jason Godfrey is off the market! The TV host and actor who has flaunted his acting chops in the Channel 5 series Tanglin and Mata Mata, has wed his longtime girlfriend, Romanian-born Sorina Veronica last Saturday (21 September). Jason shared some pictures of his wedding day on his Instagram, calling it ‘the real wedding shoot’.

Based on a wedding invite on his website, Yahoo Lifestyle Singapore understands the wedding was held at Northern Romania, at a restaurant near the Suha Mare River. We imagine the landscape at this tiny town to be vastly beautiful, and it’s just a 4-hour drive from Transylvania (pictured below).
Sorina is a model and interior designer, and has worked as a consultant for the Romanian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong as well as a strategist for Gensler, an architecture and planning firm here in Singapore.

In a column with Her World online, Jason shared that he used to date around until he met this one girl who changed his life and perspective: “...here was this new girl, telling me it didn’t take much for her to find happiness anywhere. And when she started talking about working two jobs outside of modelling, and wanting to enroll into university as a mature student, I was sold. Here was a girl who had ambition – someone who knew she had to make her own way after her shelf life as a model expired. She was so unlike many of the models I knew, who saw marrying well as the back-up plan. It was refreshing, and I was hooked. That was when I decided I wanted to see her again.”
