SINGAPORE — Actor and singer Aliff Aziz on Monday (13 January) said that he will plead guilty to his charges of theft and disorderly behaviour in Singapore’s State Courts.
The 28-year-old Singaporean actor, whose full name is Mohamad Aliff Aziz, currently faces three charges, for stealing a packet of cigarettes and a lighter from a person at Starbucks in Orchard Road on 6 August 2018; stealing S$300 and 1,000,000 Rupiah from Indonesian celebrity Raja Yunika Perdhana Putri from a Studio M Hotel room on 7 June last year; and most recently, behaving in a disorderly manner at Orchard Towers on 10 November last year.

According to court records, his next hearing will be on 17 February.
Aliff’s arrest for his latest offence was widely shared in a video on social media and showed the celebrity being pinned down on the road by two police officers as he struggles.
Aliff was also heard shouting “You talk to my father!” and making a call with his mobile phone as the officers handcuff him.
Interestingly, as of the time of publication of this report, Aliff had deleted all his Instagram posts. The popular actor, who worked in both Malaysia and Singapore, has 1.1 million followers on Instagram.
The singer has made the news over the past year due to his run-ins with the law and rumours of extra-marital affairs. His ex-wife, Malaysian actress Bella Astillah, with whom he has a two-year-old son, divorced him in May last year after telling a court, “My husband always cheats on me."
