Aaron Yan files statement at the police station
5 Jul – Aaron Yan recently went to the Women and Children's Protection Department of the Taipei City Police Department to file a statement, following the report made by his former lover Yao Le last week.
As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who was seen accompanied by his two lawyers, arrived at the department at 9.30am on 3 July, and was quickly swarmed by the media three hours later, as he exited the building.
When asked about the process, Aaron said that it was inconvenient for him to say, as he could not disclose the investigation details.
Asked if he felt aggrieved, he responded, "I will not reveal my emotion. It's not important."
At the same time, it was reported that the police have searched Aaron's residence, studio and other related places, and downloaded a large amount of audio and video materials from the actor's computer.
It is noted that prosecutors have opened an investigation against Aaron for allegedly violating the Child and Youth Sexual Exploitation Prevention Act, following allegations made by Yao Le that the two had a sexual relationship when Yao Le was only 16.
